FULL ITINERARY
DAY 1: HCM ARRIVAL
On arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in HCMC.
DAY 2: CU CHI TUNNEL - SHOPPING (B)
AM: In the morning, you will explore the remarkable underground tunnel network and former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi, 30 km northwest of HCMC. Cu Chi Tunnels consist of a network of more than 200 km of underground tunnels used by resistance fighters during the U.S./Vietnam War.
PM: In the afternoon, free time for your own shopping at local markets and shopping centers.
DAY 3: HCM - CAN THO (B, L)
In the morning, depart from Saigon and head to My Hiep. Take a 3-hour boat trip cruising through “Rung Tram” (Indigo forest) which was used by the so-called Viet Cong Army during the Vietnam war as a base called Xeo Quyt. Take a 4-hour boat trip from My Hiep cruising Tien and Hau tributaries of Cuu Long (the name of Mekong River part crossing Vietnam), arrive in Ninh Kieu Wharf in Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 4: CAN THO - CHAU DOC (B, L)
Having another boat trip to discover Cai Rang floating market in early morning. Transfer to Chau Doc via Long Xuyen, a stop on the way to visit the Reserved Stork Sanctuary. Check in hotel. Visit the Sam mountain to enjoy a breathtaking view on the Vietnamese - Cambodian border with flat rice fields and nice canals, visit cave pagoda. Overnight in Chau Doc.
DAY 5: CHAU DOC - PHNOM PENH (B, L)
Morning boat cruise to visit the floating fishing communities and the Cham village. Take a speed boat to Phnom Penh, meet and transfer to hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant.
PM: Begin city tour with a visit to Wat Phnom, the historical capital of Phnom Penh. Proceed to the Independent Monument, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum of Fine Arts. Dinner and overnight in Phnom Penh.
DAY 6: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP (B)
AM: After breakfast, send you to the airport or boat port going to Siem Reap City. Siem Reap Town is the small gateway to the ruins of Angkor; it is 250 km northwest of Phnom Penh and 15 km north of Tonle Sap.
Arrival in the city of World Heritage, Angkor Wat. Our car and guide will pick you up at the airport or boat port, then transfer to the hotel for check-in.
PM: Free leisure. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 7: ANGKOR TOUR (B, L, D)
AM: After breakfast at the hotel, visit the famous old palace, Angkor Thom. Within Angkor Thom are Bayon - Baphuon, Terrace of Elephant, Phimean Akas, and Terrace of Leper King. Afterwards, visit Taprom Temple. Back to Siem Reap town and have lunch at a local restaurant.
PM: Visit the amazing Angkor Wat. Watch the sunset from the top of Bakheng hill. Dinner at a local restaurant with a buffet and a traditional Apsara Show. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 8: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (B)
AM: Visit the Great Lake (Tonle Sap Lake) in Indochina, which is 100km². In a 1-2 hour cruise, you will experience visiting the Fishing Village, where fishermen live on the water. You will see how different their lives are compared to other fishing villages around the world. Back to Siem Reap Town, visit Chantier Ecole - Artisan d’Angkor, the place is in the Ministry of Education that was constructed in 1992. This place is renowned for woodworking, stone carving, and polychrome training centers and workshops. Free tour of different classes and workshops offers a glimpse into the unique skills training program, teaching young artists about the techniques and styles of classic Cambodian Artistry. Lunch at a local restaurant.
PM: Visit Old Market for shopping, then transfer to the airport for a flight off. End of tour.
