FULL ITINERARY
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
On arrival at Noi Bai Airport in the morning, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Free time for your leisure till afternoon.
PM: Visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, dedicated to Confucius and Vietnam’s most successful scholars. Proceed to visit the Museum of History. Take a one-hour cyclo tour to visit the old quarter of Hanoi. Back to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI - HA LONG (B, L, D)
Leave Hanoi by road for Ha Long Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo, and everyday Vietnamese village life.
Arrive in Ha Long, boarding Indochina Sails, a luxury junk for departure. Welcome drink is served. Lunch is served while cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay. Cruising to visit the exciting Cua Van fishing village. Continue to trekking or swimming at Soi Sim island. Docking for overnight. Dinner is served on board. Fishing or relaxing and spending the night on board.
DAY 3: HA LONG BAY - HANOI (B, BRUNCH, D)
Wake up to fresh coffee or tea before cruising to visit splendid Sung Sot (Surprising) grotto. Buffet brunch (breakfast and lunch) while cruising back through Ha Long Bay to the pier. Transfer back to Hanoi by road. After an early dinner at Cha Ca La Vong, a well-known fish-pie restaurant in Hanoi, enjoy the water puppetry show. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 4: HANOI - HUE (B)
In the morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Hue. Meet and transfer to a hotel for check-in.
Afternoon: Visit the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. Shopping at Dong Ba market. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 5: HUE - HOI AN (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to visit Thien Mu pagoda by boat, visit the impressive tombs of Nguyen Emperors. After lunch at a local restaurant, transfer to Hoi An. On arrival, check-in at a Hoi An resort. Free time on the beach or for leisure. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 6: HOI AN - DA NANG - HCMC (B)
After breakfast, free to explore the old merchant town of Hoi An with Chinese Assembly Halls, beautiful Japanese-covered Bridge, narrow winding streets, and ancestral family homes. Be tempted by its art galleries, handcrafted woodwork, ceramics, lanterns, embroidery, and tailor shops. You can also relax at the beach. In the afternoon, transfer to Da Nang airport for a flight to HCMC. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight in HCMC.
DAY 7: HCMC - CU CHI (B)
After breakfast, we venture beyond the city limits to the former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi, where we explore this remarkable tunnel network. Return to HCMC at noon. In the afternoon, free to visit the dynamic energy of HCMC with Notre Dame Cathedral and the former US Embassy and shopping at Ben Thanh market. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight in HCMC.
DAY 8: MEKONG DELTA DAY TRIP (B)
In the morning, you will depart for My Tho Town in Mekong Delta, the “rice basket” of Vietnam. Stop at Go Den Winery to see how they make sticky rice wine and to interact with local people. After arriving in My Tho, you will take the boat ride across the Mekong River. Transfer to a sampan rowboat along the natural canal. Visit a local house, orchard garden, bee farm, sampling honey tea, taking horse-cart ride, coconut candy factory… Lunch at a local house with fresh and local specialties. Drive back to HCMC in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own. Overnight in HCMC.
DAY 9: HCMC - SIEM REAP (B)
Meet you at the hotel and transfer to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap. Arrival Siem Reap. Check-in your hotel. Free at your leisure and overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 10: SIEM REAP ANGKOR TEMPLE (B, L, D)
AM: Visit Angkor Thom (the old king palace) with Bayon, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Leper King, Phimean Akas, Ba Phoun. Lunch at a local restaurant.
PM: Continue to visit the famous temple Angkor Wat while enjoying the Sunset from Top of Bakheng Hill. Dinner with a show at a local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 11: SIEM REAP - BANTEY SREI (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel, then visit Banteay Srey (The Women Palace) and Bantey Sameri. Lunch at a local restaurant.
PM: Visit other Angkor Ruins, Thommanon, Chao Say Tevoda, Takeo, Taprom, Banteay Kdai, Sras Srong till sunset. Dinner on your own & overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.
DAY 12: SIEM REAP - PHNOM PENH (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to take the Express boat to Phnom Penh. Arrival transfer for lunch at a local restaurant then transfer to the hotel for check-in and relax. Afternoon, transfer to visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Wat Phnom. Dinner on your own & overnight in PNH.
DAY 13: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR - DEP (B, L)
Shopping at Russia market and Centre Market till having lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for departure. End of service.
