This trip is to discover the busiest and most diversified city of Vietnam, which was once regarded as”Far Eastern Pearl”. You will see the city’s modern beauty in the centre and visit war vestiges in the suburb and also enjoy the exciting boat cruise through typical attractions of Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s”Rice Basket” with vast fruit plantations, bustling floating markets.

FULL ITINERARY

DAY 1: HCM ARRIVAL
On arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in HCMC.

DAY 2: CU CHI TUNNEL - SHOPPING (B)
AM: In the morning, you will explore the remarkable underground tunnel network and former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi, 30 km northwest of HCMC. Cu Chi Tunnels consist of a network of more than 200 km of underground tunnels used by resistance fighters during the U.S./Vietnam War.

PM: In the afternoon, free time for your own shopping at local markets and shopping centres.

DAY 3: MY THO DAY TRIP (B, L)
AM: Depart for My Tho Town. Stop at Go Den Winery to see how they make tasty sticky rice wine and to interact with local people. After arrival at My Tho, take the boat ride across the Mekong River. Transfer to a sampan row boat along the natural canal. Visit a local house, orchard garden, bee farm, sampling honey tea, taking horse-cart ride, coconut candy factory... Lunch at a local house on the island with local specialities.

PM: Drive back to HCMC in the late afternoon for overnight.

DAY 4: CITY TOUR (B)
Start the morning tour by visiting the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of April 1975. Then take a photo stop at some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. Continue to visit the War Museum, Ben Thanh market for shopping. Overnight in HCMC.

DAY 5: HCMC DEPARTURE (B)
The morning is at leisure until you are transferred to the airport for the flight home.
